The Dhivehi Investment Nafaa Fund (DHINAF) has announced the launch of DHINAF-48, a new MVR 40 million tranche following the successful completion of its inaugural issuance, DHINAF-36.
The first tranche reached its full subscription target in June 2026, having opened in October 2025, reflecting growing demand among institutional and qualified investors for professionally managed investment opportunities within the Maldivian market. The achievement marks an important milestone for DHINAF, which was established as the Maldives’ first investment vehicle dedicated to short-duration investments, and for DIP, which has seen an increased participation in the capital market.
Registered with the Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA), DHINAF operates as a collective investment scheme that pools capital from multiple investors into a professionally managed portfolio. The fund focuses on opportunities across tourism, real estate, infrastructure, and trade finance, targeting investments with maturities of less than five years.
Since its inception, the fund has delivered strong portfolio performance while maintaining a disciplined investment approach and meeting all investor obligations on schedule. This performance has helped strengthen investor confidence in the fund and demonstrates the potential of alternative investment solutions within the local capital market.
Building on this momentum, DHINAF-48 introduces a new MVR 40 million tranche and expands the fund’s available investment tenors to include a four-year option. The new issuance continues to provide investors with access to a diversified portfolio of carefully selected opportunities across key sectors of the Maldivian economy.
The launch of DHINAF-48 reflects the fund’s continued growth and the increasing role of collective investment vehicles in broadening access to private market opportunities. By pooling capital from multiple investors, the fund enables participation in larger investment opportunities while providing diversification across sectors and projects.
DHINAF, DIP continues its mission of connecting investors with quality investment opportunities while supporting the development of the Maldives’ capital markets.
Subscriptions for DHINAF-48 are now open to institutional and qualified investors.
